Hello Yvette,

The v6267 maintenance release is for Tajima DG15 by Pulse, and does not apply to DG/ML14. If you wanted to take advantage of the updated features, you would need to upgrade to DG15. You could do this by contacting your local Pulse distributor.

Well that was a let down. Good to know "after"... Thank you

Hello Yvette,

A new version of Tajima DG/ML14 is coming shortly. It will contain a variety of bug fixes and improvements, and the update is free of charge.

However, this maintenance release does not necessarily contain all of the changes/additions that have been made in Tajima DG15 by Pulse recently, because DG15 contains some exclusive features that are not available in DG/ML14.

Does dg15 come with any images.

Hello Jill,

Tajima DG15 by Pulse does not come with any designs at this time, but there are plenty of places where design files can be purchased for a low cost.

When making monograms, we do supply some boarders and very small accents, but the main focus of DG15 is to enable the user to be able to digitize their own professional images.

Thank you for the latest release for Tajima DG/ML 14. I have installed the new program but it doesn't register the release 14.1.10.5402 in the help about section of the software.
Any suggestions

Hello Charles,

We have not been able to replicate this issue yet unfortunately. Could you try reinstalling DG/ML14 on your PC? Then if it still acts the same way, could you send us information like which operating system your computer is running?

Thanks!

display not fitting correctly

Hello CNauta,

We are aware of the issue and able to reproduce it here. It has become a high priority recently to fix for high-res monitors. We hope to have it available in the next maintenance release.

As a temporary solution, some customers have changed the font size from between 100% and 250% depending on how large they want it to appear. It does generally affect all programs unfortunately, but it can be adjusted fairly easily.

Another alternative for some customers has been to reduce the overall resolution of the monitor, which will resize the icons as well.

Keri's away message was an error and she will return soon to assist further.

Hell Rui,

We have tested this issue and been able to reproduce it. It is now on our list of bugs to fix.

Unfortunately we don't have a known workaround at the moment, but it will be worked on for a future update.

Thank you for your patience.

New Font

Hello stasha27,

For monograms, you will need to use one of the supplied monogram fonts within Tajima DG15 by Pulse.

For most other font use, you also have the option of importing any True Type font to use within DG15. At this time, only official Pulse fonts and True-Type fonts can be used.

Depending on your needs, additional fonts are also for purchase from your distributor. This can give you additional font options and styles that may fit what you were looking for.

Hello Charles,

We still haven't been able to replicate the issue unfortunately. We will continue to test for it going forward though. In the meantime, the issue should not affect any of the features within DG/ML14, so you can continue to use it until we find a solution to this issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

How to make stitch design more dense

Tajima Software
Tajima Software
Administrator
Hello Jodie,

To change the stitch density, you can do the following:

Select the segment you want to change. Then on the Properties bar, find the Stitch category and Density will be an option below it.

For text, you will need to convert it to outlines. Then under the Properties bar, find the Stitch category and Density will be an option below it.

If you want to change the density of the entire design at once, you can go to File -> Design Properties and adjust the Master Density.

Good luck!

Is there a way to rotate a complete design?

Hello stasha27,

There is a rotate tool within DG that can be used to rotate the complete design. You will need to select all segments first, and then you can adjust the rotation by typing in the degree of rotation you want it to change to.

Hope this helps!

I want to make with the template-function a design with 2 different text lines ( every design must have different name and a different function)
I have putted the names and functions in 2 different rows in my spreadsheet (collum A and B)
But when I generate the list at the end of the "Template-" procedure , the height, text and fonts of both rows switches places and a error appears
Has anyone any expirience or solutions for this problem , or can tell me how to do it correctly ?

Hello mac ryan,

Are you able to send a screenshot of this error to your local Pulse distributor please? They may ask for more information after, but it will help us see what is not working easier.

Hello,
We have confirmed a problem with run repeats not updating the correct number of runs. This issue has been submitted to our developers.
We are currently investigating the scale width setting for steil, as well as the other issues listed above.
Thank you for your patience as we review and create fixes for them.

Custom Cornering in Apparel Decoration

Tajima Software
Tajima Software
Administrator
Apparel decoration software can allow you to customize the corners of shapes and designs. Corners can be adjusted with a simple click of the mouse, making high-quality professional results easy to achieve. There are four different corner types that can be applied:

Auto Corner

Auto Corners are the most popular style in embroidery designs. Auto corners create a natural look and curve by slowly turning the angle lines. These make for a smooth look when the angle of the corner is greater than ninety degrees. Angle lines can be added and subtracted to create different looks.

Hand Sewn Corner

Hand sewn corners eliminate the sharp point at the end of a corner. An abrupt stop is made before the corner is completed and instead the result is a straight line. One issue the some people have with hand sewn corners is that it gives a bit of an unfinished look.

Mitered Corner

Miter corners leave a much different look in which you can more clearly see two different pieces being joined at a sharp point. Mitered corners can cause a higher than normal amount of stitches when dealing with more acute angles.

Capped Corner

Capped corners are an option that is used to hide dividing lines and produce a cleaner look. They look exactly as they sound, like a wizard’s hat has been places over the sharp corner. Capped corners are often applied to small lettering segments.

Make sure that you try out all of the different corner types to see what types work best for you in each and every situation. Keep your stitch count in mind while you experiment with these four options.
