5/30/2025 Topic: Auto Save Files are where Tajima Software Administrator	Hi Lynn, Sorry to hear DG16 is shutting down unexpectedly. If you complete a bug report, we’d be happy to investigate the issue further. If your design wasn’t saved yet, DG16 automatically creates a backup file in your default designs folder. To locate it: 1. Click the Tools tab in the top toolbar. 2. Select User Settings. 3. Click File Locations from the side menu. 4. Copy the path listed under Design. 5. Open File Explorer. 6. Paste the copied path into the address bar and press Enter. Once you're in the folder, enable Hidden Items in your view settings to ensure autosave files are visible. For unsaved designs, the autosave file will appear here. If the design had been saved before, its autosave version will be wherever you saved the file.

7/22/2025 Topic: COREL DRAW DG15 HELP Tajima Software Administrator	Hello Nev, The Autotrace tool in DG15 only works with image files, so a pasted artwork file from Corel won’t be compatible. Artwork or image files on their own cannot be loaded to an embroidery machine; they must first be converted into embroidery using stitch types. To easily convert your artwork into stitches, just right-click any line and click "Convert Segment to" > "Choose Stitch Type". To create a machine-ready embroidery file, you’ll need to manually digitize the artwork or use Autotrace on an image file and then assign stitch types as needed. 8/1/2025 Topic: fill pattern random Tajima Software Administrator	Hi Mac Ryan. If you want to reuse the settings for a Random Fill, you can save them as a Preset. Here’s how: To create a new preset using Random Fill: 1. Go to Tools > Manage > Presets. 2. Click New in the bottom-left corner of the pop-up. 3. Select Complex Fill from the side panel. 4. Check the box next to Fill Pattern and set it to Random. 5. Adjust any additional settings as needed. 6. Go to the top menu and click File > Save. To make this preset available in future designs: 1. Go to Tools > Manage > Presets. 2. Make sure Presets is selected. 3. Change the top dropdown from Presets to Preset Sets. 4. Choose Basics, then click Open. 5. Select your newly created presets. 6. 8/1/2025 Topic: IMPORT artwork problem Tajima Software Administrator	Hi fancystitchz. The disappearing artwork may be related to the Show Outlines setting. If it’s turned off, vector art can appear to vanish once unselected. The Show Outlines option is highlighted with a red outline in the attached image.
