IMPROVEMENT OF MANUAL

I think that the search function in the manual needs to be improved a lot, when you search for something it many times cannot find it or it comes up a load of suggestions so still difficult to find the answer. There should also be more pictures of both icons to use and complete bars, even after having used the software for years it is still difficult to remember on top of your head what is the status bar, the property bar, the design properties, the properties etc. etc.
Another frustrating thing is that the manual is general for all levels of software and it does not specify which level has a certain function which results in that you can spend a lot of time trying to find or figure out something that does not exist. I suggest that on each page/function in the manual it shall state which level has or do not have this function. I have made an idea of how it could look, see attachment.

I combined the 2 grey steil segments. Next time that I opened the software I could not break them up because the break up tool was not there.
I came around the problem by adding a new segment because then the breakup happened automatically, I deleted the new segment and now I had my 2 segments separated but in the sequence view it still shows up as a combined segment. I cannot combine the 2 separated grey segments again because the combine tool do not show up.
Please find the embroidery design file as well as screenshoots attached.

What is wrong with Tajima Pulse DXF files ?
They are not recognized by Adobe Illustrator and neither by Design Space (Software for Cricut maker 3 cutting machine).
Is this a bug or is it something that I need to do to get it to work ?
Please find attached the DXF file that I tried with.

You can forget about the above I now realize that the above operation is wrong for DXF files, I think however that the way you are doing DXF files are stupid because you cannot use existing PXF design files instead you have to digitize it all again with the applique cutter tooll which doubles the work, why is it done like this ?
Another question, is there anyway to import a DXF or SVG file into Pulse ? |

Hi Luebbers,
Thank you for your advice, I will try it out.
I have figured out now how to make it the other way.
What I wanted to do was taking existing PXF designs and make it to appliques and in this case I do the following:
Copy the part in the PXF file that you want to use as an applique
Open a new blank file and past it into here
Convert the file to an Art Segment
Save As a DXF file
I then open this DXF file in Adobe Illustrator
And Convert it into a SVG file
I can now use this SVG file for a cutting machine like Cricut etc. |

I can confirm that DXF files imports well now into Adobe Illustrator with the Maintenance release 16.5.2.7640

Hi,
I am using Maestro 16.5.0.7616 and there are missing settings for the Fractal fill on the main display, see attachment. In the red oval there should be settings for stitch length, type, random factor etc. like it is for programmed fill. |
