DG16.0.1.7037 Fill Patterns not available in menu

I downloaded Illustrator Extreme 16.0.1.7037 and have a problem with fill segments.
If you create a new fill segment, and try to change the pattern from the top menu, you cannot reach any options below Satin.
However, if you right click the segment and select properties, the additional patterns become available (Smooth to Zig-Zag) become available
