I'm not convinced it's the individual files.....
The crashing is very random but usually occurs after multiple quick edits and long software calculating pauses. The screen freezes while calculating and if you continue to attempt to make edits during the pause...it will crash. I find that if you wait for the program to finish the calculating freeze, the screen will release and you can then resume editing. If the operating system processing speed and RAM is less than optimal (under 32GB) the crashing occurs more frequently. This problem did not occur before the most current software update.

Hi,
I'm having this problem too.
1- When creating programmed stitches.
2-Fractal filling when creating.
3-When you want to trade start and end points.

Thanks

I believe you have a user objects leak occurring constantly that progressively slows down the software, and when it hits 10,000 user objects, it crashes. Sometimes it will crash before the 10,000 limit, but the count is always very high. I believe this affects the speed of the software as it gets higher... This has nothing to do with any particular files that have been, or are being created.

This software is very powerful, and can do lots of wonderful things. However I have definitely got into the habit of pressing save after EVERY SINGLE thing I do. It crashes all the time, has to be one of the most unstable piece of software I have ever used. Hopefully the next update can resolve this, it is very frustrating and not very good from a $10,000 software.
I use a gaming laptop that should have zero issues running this software.

I am using maestro version 16.1.2.7290, with this last update it doesn't shut down as often as it did before.
What does happen more often is, while designing, some functions stop working, but I still have the opportunity to save the file Im working in.
When that happens I can save the file, shut down DG16, re-start it and work on in the file I've closed without losing anything.
Maybe it's an idea to launch a Mac version, I would appreciate that

For example, in the last several weeks my program has shut down due to "resetting the kerning" and "unlocking a segment". I have lost progress a number of times because of this. Designs have been both text only, and image heavy, as well as anywhere between 3000 stitches and 100,000 stitches. It shuts down if I have one tab open or multiple tabs. There is never an error message, and only asks to resume the progress about 50% of the time.

Please address this issue.

Windows 10, Pulse DG 16, 64 bit operating system
