DGML Illustrator Extreme 16.5.3.7660 Was manually spacing letters. Normal function when spacing rightwards using Shift+Click and Dragging. Alternated to Ctrl+Click and dragging caused the letters to the left to disappear. Ctrl+Z Undo function did not resolve issue. When Ctrl+Z was pressed repeatedly to undo further backwards, the app crashed and shutdown. I'm aware that I can just delete the segment and start over, the only issue is that I already got approval for this sizing from the customer, and now they're gone and I have to hope I can guess close enough to where they won't notice the difference.

Hi MrLogoSD, Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for including the details of your setup and steps taken. We understand how frustrating that is, especially after the sizing had already been approved. To help us investigate further, could you please confirm which font was used and whether any specific settings were applied to the font element? If you are able to replicate the issue, it would also be very helpful if you could share the PXF file with us via direct message. Additionally, if possible, please include the exact steps leading up to the issue, particularly which letters did you select when switching between Shift+drag and Ctrl+drag, so we can better understand the behavior and attempt to reproduce it on our end. We will look into it further once we have more information.

It was an Old Embroidery Font. 3D Block. I was moving the second D in DAVIDSON, and was individually spacing out the letters as I went. I know I moved the 'i' and the N on the outer edges sore sure. Anything that was a straight vertical letter I probably moved to make it look uniform. It was all on a single line. Ctrl+z didn't undo it, it remained invisible. I also sent it to my machine thinking that it was just a visualization problem, but it transferred exactly as on the canvas.
Unfortunately I deleted it, but will try to maintain those if I have anymore bug reports.

Hi MrLogoSD, Thank you for the additional information. We recommend ensuring that your font height falls within the values specified in our Font Help Guide. Going outside of these parameters can cause stitching issues, as fonts were not designed to be scaled beyond these limits. The guide can be accessed from the top navigation menu by selecting Help > Fonts. You can also find the minimum and maximum height values for our fonts on our website: https://www.tajimasoftware.com/dg-fonts

Ok, this error is repeating itself and I have a file for it this time. All I was doing before the lettering disappeared was spacing them out. I hit the borders when dragging the selected letters because it maintained some invisible barrier preventing me from creating the space I wanted. When I released the part (unclicked the mouse) everything to the right of the selected letter disappeared. Ctrl + Z did not fix it. I had to restart the process again and reload my file to not have the corruption in it.

Hi MrLogoSD. Thank you for the follow up. Please confirm that you are running DG16 version 16.5.5.7683. If the issue occurs again, you can right-click the text and select Reset Kerning Points to fix the issue. If the issue continues in the latest version of DG, please let us know so we can investigate further.
