I only have "Import True Type" for fonts but no "Import Image" in DG17. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Still no luck. Anyone else having this issue?

Hello 1836C0,
The Import Image tool can be found in two locations:
  • From the top navigation toolbar, select Image, then choose Load.
  • From the left ribbon, hover over the available tools until you see Import True Type. Click and hold to view additional options, including Import Image.
Please note that the Import Image tool is only available in DG17 Creator level and above.
As an alternative, the Autodigitizer tool is available at the Composer level. You can learn more about both the Autodigitizer and Import Image tools using the links below:
If you believe you are on the correct level to access the image tools and still cannot, please let us know which level and version of DG17 you are using. This information can be found by clicking Help in the top toolbar and then selecting About. Your level and version number will appear on the first line of the pop-up window.

How Virtual Medical Assistants Improve Practice Management SystemsManaging a healthcare practice today is not easy. Doctors and staff must handle patient care, paperwork, scheduling, billing, and technology all at the same time. Practice management systems are designed to help with these tasks, but they still need skilled people to run them properly. This is where virtual medical assistants play an important role in making daily operations smoother and more efficient.
A virtual medical assistant works remotely and supports healthcare providers with administrative and non-clinical tasks. In the middle of this support system, a Medical Virtual Assistant helps practices use their management software correctly, saves time, and reduces stress for on-site staff. For students in the United States who are learning about healthcare systems, understanding this role is very important.

They use practice management systems to manage tasks without being physically present.

Reducing Administrative BurdenDoctors often spend too much time on paperwork instead of patients.
Virtual medical assistants take over data entry, documentation, and follow-ups.

Improving Appointment SchedulingScheduling errors can cause long wait times and unhappy patients.
Virtual assistants manage calendars, confirm appointments, and reduce no-shows.

Efficient Patient Data ManagementAccurate patient data is critical for quality care.
Virtual assistants update records and ensure information is complete and organized.

Better Billing and Coding SupportBilling mistakes can lead to claim denials and financial loss.
Virtual assistants help enter correct codes and submit clean claims on time.

Enhancing Insurance VerificationInsurance verification is time-consuming but very important.
Virtual assistants check coverage details before appointments to avoid delays.

Supporting Front Desk OperationsFront desk staff often feel overwhelmed with calls and walk-ins.
Virtual assistants handle phone calls, messages, and patient inquiries remotely.

Mid-Article Focus: Communication and Language SupportClear communication improves patient trust and satisfaction.
A bilingual virtual assistant helps practices serve patients who speak different languages, reducing confusion and improving care access.

Improving Workflow EfficiencySmooth workflows help practices run faster and better.
Virtual assistants follow set processes and keep tasks moving without interruption.

Reducing Operational CostsHiring full-time, in-office staff can be expensive.
Virtual assistants lower costs by working remotely without office overhead.

Increasing Accuracy and ComplianceHealthcare practices must follow strict rules and regulations.
Virtual assistants are trained to follow compliance standards while using management systems.

Enhancing Patient ExperiencePatients value quick responses and organized services.
Virtual assistants help ensure calls are answered and requests are handled promptly.

Supporting Doctors’ Work-Life BalanceBurnout is common among healthcare professionals.
By handling routine tasks, virtual assistants allow doctors to focus on care and rest.

Adapting to Technology and SoftwarePractice management systems are updated frequently.
Virtual assistants stay trained on new features and help practices adapt easily.

Scalability for Growing PracticesAs practices grow, workload increases.
Virtual assistants offer flexible support without the need for new office space.

Helping Students Understand Modern HealthcareFor healthcare students, this model shows how technology and people work together.
It highlights the future of healthcare administration and remote support roles.

ConclusionVirtual medical assistants play a key role in improving practice management systems.
They reduce workload, improve accuracy, and support better patient care.
By using remote professionals, healthcare practices become more efficient and cost-effective.
