Standard embroidery font- German block - 3 times it moves to the dot, creating an ugly connection.

@dluxedivegear we haven't been able to reproduce the issue using DG17 build 8032. Have you tried using "German Block New" instead? You could also experiment with connection settings to get your desired look.

I am using DG17 Build 2028, and yes, I was using the German Block New font. My understanding is that the embroidery fonts provided by the software do not require additional connection settings. Isn’t that correct?

No, that’s not correct. You can always adjust the font to your preference. Remove the connections between letters if you don’t need them—this can be done in the text settings by adding trims.
Connecting the dot in the letter i can also be fixed, but you need to break the text into segments for that.
Also, the 2028 build is already outdated; you need to update.
