I am noticing a problem with the steil stitch going "crazy", especially when I select Auto Corner Style and offset. Moving start and stop around sometimes helps, but not always. This is not something I've just noticed. I've been having this issue since dg15. I have Illustrator Extreme, latest version of dg16. Is this a known bug with steil or something I'm doing wrong.

Please share an example file so that we can investigate the issue.

I'll share as soon as I can. I don't know an exact rhyme or reason why or when it will happen, but soon. Baseball is starting up, so expecting some new designs.

Reducing the width of the steil seems to generate a better result with the attached.

I have corrected your steil for you. And posted the cause why the steil did not work. I have also attached the file so you can see it does work. Just a few minor adjustments to digitizing style and nodes. And it works.
