Message from Tajima Software

Thank you for the detailed response.

We released a new version today, DG16.5.7683. Please give that a try and let us know if it resolves the complex fill issue. https://cloud.tajimasoftware.com/Download

We’re in touch with Hirsch regarding the version inconsistencies. In the meantime, our site is the go-to source for the latest DG downloads.

If you’re still seeing the complex fill as a steil segment after updating, please send a screenshot with the Sequence View tab open on the right side of your screen.

Alternatively, you can double-click the element that’s turning into a steil stitch, click complex fill in the list on the left and send a screenshot of that panel. This will provide similar helpful information.
edited by Tajima Software on 4/22/2026

This is a screenshot from the Hirsch website. The last update they got from you was 16.5.2.7640. The Tajima community came up on my start screen. I followed the information and found the update to 16.5.3.7675, where it turned out the trims weren't working. I then saw in your community thread that there was another, even older update for 16.5.3.7660. I updated to that one, which turns out also has bugs. If you pick the complex fill stitch button, it will actually create a steil stitch. I contacted the Hirsch IT help desk, and they were and are not aware of any new updates since 16.5.2.7640. So they couldn't help me. And I have been running 7640 ever since.

Hello All,
Just wondering why Hirsch has not been receiving these new update releases for DG16? How are they supposed to help their customers with software issues? How are you all not communicating with each other? This is making it tricky for those of us trying to run our small businesses.
