Hello Jodie,

To change the stitch density, you can do the following:

Select the segment you want to change. Then on the Properties bar, find the Stitch category and Density will be an option below it.

For text, you will need to convert it to outlines. Then under the Properties bar, find the Stitch category and Density will be an option below it.

If you want to change the density of the entire design at once, you can go to File -> Design Properties and adjust the Master Density.

Good luck!

I'm somewhat of a beginner and have not been happy with the satin stitch density. When using dark colors (navy/black), the design turns out with a lot of white space showing through (stitching on a canvas cream bag). How to I achieve a more dense look to my stitching?
